Launching New Website & Logo!

Friends of the Southwest Family Advocacy Center logo

The Friends' board members have been eagerly awaiting the official launch of our new website. And, much like anxious parents waiting for their first baby's arrival, there's been a lot of pacing and nail-biting behind the scenes. Thankfully, the City of Avondale, website designer Dan, and several volunteers have supported our efforts every step of the way. With their help, the new website is now up and running!

In our first blog post, we would like to introduce you to the new logo of the Friends. During the logo-making process, we learned that using more than four colors would increase printing costs, so we limited the color palette to four primary colors. Our aim was to create a logo that reflects the feel and intention of the Southwest Family Advocacy Center's logo while also distinguishing the two entities.

The small desert scene in the center of the logo represents the southwest valley. The tiny hearts in the logo symbolize the caring and supportive nature of the center. And the people encircling the desert scene represent the community of friends who support those who need the center's services. Thank you for taking the time to visit our new website.

In the future, these blog posts will showcase the contributions made by Friends of the Friends to the Southwest Family Advocacy Center.
